Beautiful location overlooking orange groves and hills in the distance. The village is very pretty with friendly locals. The site is very clean and currently free. There are toilets, wc, shower and small outdoor swimming pool within a 5 minute walk. There is some noise - cockerels, birds, bees and cicadas, and occasional distant dogs barking. We loved this rural idyll. The only grocery shop was closed unfortunately but there were a couple of bars with food. There are fabulous hikes just next to the site - the wooden walkway over the gorge and a circular walk round the gorge (pr9). The bus service to the Monchique Intermarche with washing machines runs at 9am, but we had to get a Bolt taxi back. Summary - a fantastic site thank you Alferce!
